Dear Friend,

So what's a farm have to do with wildlife?

It may not be the first thing you think of when you picture wildlife habitat. But did you know that America's farms, private forests and ranches cover more than half of the United States?

How these lands are used is a big deal for wildlife. Farms are increasingly being asked to produce more food and fiber, not to mention biofuels crops like ethanol. The Farm Bill--which is authorized every five years by Congress--helps guide these land management decisions.

The past three Farm Bills have shaped more conservation programs--and put more funding behind those programs--than any other suite of legislation.

TAKE ACTION and let them know that wildlife should be a top priority!
