We're at
a critical point!
Protect
North Carolina's streams, forests & farms
H990
/ S1522 Land & Water Conservation Bond Act of 2007
Right now, the NC legislature is
considering putting a referendum on the ballot so voters can choose to invest
$1 billion over five years in conservation for rivers and streams, forests,
farms, parks, and gamelands. If you want a chance to help wildlife and habitat,
legislators need to
hear from you immediately.
The clock is ticking. We must act now and we need your help.
The Land for Tomorrow Coalition, of which NC Wildlife Federation is a partner,
has been working hard on this for several years, and we're at a critical point
in the decision making process. All it will take is a quick phone call or
email.
Don't worry - no one will ask you questions you can't answer.
The message is simple:
All they need to hear is that you care.
Go to Land for Tomorrow's action center, which makes it easy
to email your legislator (or visit http://www.ncleg.net/GIS/Representation/Who_Represents_Me/Who_Represents_Me.html
to find your legislator's contact info).
