Carolina By-Products is a Division of Valley Proteins. Located in Gastonia, NC at 5533 South York Rd., this site has huge wildlife value as the property is adjacent to Crowders Creek in the Catawba River Basin. Habitat projects include:

• huge invasive plant eradication- primarily kudzu

• nesting boxes for cavity-nesting species including bluebirds and purple martins
• planting field areas with clover and other wildlife-friendly vegetation
• butterfly garden
